For Pet’s Sake is a fully equipped dog grooming van that comes to you and grooms your dog in about an hour.

      Mobile grooming is fast, convenient, safe and is a pleasant grooming experience for your dog. My van is heated in the winter and cool in the summer...l groom all year long! Also, I have fresh cool or warm water for each dog.

photo      A little about me. My name is Lisa. After graduating from the Midwest School of Dog Grooming in 1985, I worked at For Pet’s Sake {a grooming shop in Skokie} for seven years. I bought the grooming shop and continued to groom at the shop. I never really enjoyed working in a shop because I knew it was not very pleasant for the dogs, but what was the alternative? When I heard about mobile dog grooming, I bought a van and became mobile in 1992. I have been happily mobile since then and I love my job. I also know all my dog clients, {and people clients} are very happy with my mobile service too.

      Why choose mobile grooming over a grooming shop? First it is very convenient for you! No more traveling to and from the shop to drop off and pick up your dog. Also, your dog doesn’t have to be in a cage for hours on end. It only takes about an hour to groom a dog! It is also less stressful for your dog. Grooming shops are very noisy and are filled with stressed out barking dogs. I also believe it is safer for your pet. I have never had a flea problem, or a kennel cough problem. Lastly, your dog gets the one on one attention he or she deserves!

       I have been servicing the north shore area for eighteen years. Areas included are Evanston, Skokie, Morton Grove, Niles, Northbrook, Glenview, Deerfield, Highland Park, Wilmette, Winnetka and Lake Forest. My hours are very flexible and can accommodate all types of schedules. Some of my clients are not even home, they just leave a way for me to enter the house. It only takes me 45 minutes to groom small to medium dogs, and an hour for bigger dogs!

Hawkeye is a 70 lb.mixed breed dog. He is neutered and totally housebroken.   He really likes kids. He walks great on a leash and he loves going to the dog park. He loves all dogs big and small and is very mellow in the house. He is 2 years old.
